Moments by Desiree
At Moments by Desiree, every session is thoughtfully planned and reserved just for you. Time is set aside for preparation, scheduling, and creating a beautiful experience for each client. To ensure fairness and protect the time dedicated to every booking, the following policy applies to all photography sessions.
Booking Fee & Payments
A nonrefundable booking retainer is required to secure your session date and time. The retainer will be applied toward your total session fee. Your session is not officially reserved until the required retainer has been received and your booking agreement has been completed.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your session, please provide as much notice as possible.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled session may be eligible for a refund of payments made beyond the nonrefundable retainer, subject to the terms of your booking agreement.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to $75 due to the short notice and the difficulty of filling the reserved time slot.
Any cancellation fee must be consistent with the terms agreed upon at booking and applicable law.
Rescheduling
I understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible.
* More than 72 hours' notice: One reschedule may be permitted without an additional fee, subject to availability.
* Within 72 hours of your session: A rescheduling fee of $50 may apply to cover the short-notice change and reserved time.
* Additional rescheduling requests: Additional fees may apply, as outlined in your booking agreement.
Your original retainer will be credited toward your rescheduled session, provided the rescheduling terms are met. A new date is not guaranteed until confirmed by Moments by Desiree.
Illness & Emergencies
Your family's health and well-being come first. If you or a family member becomes ill, please reach out as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate a rescheduled date.
For unexpected emergencies or circumstances outside your control, exceptions may be considered at my discretion.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Late arrivals may shorten your session time to avoid impacting other bookings. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session may need to be shortened or rescheduled, subject to availability and the applicable policy.
Photographer Cancellations
If Moments by Desiree must cancel a session due to illness, an emergency, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible or desired, payments will be handled in accordance with your booking agreement and applicable law.
Agreement to Policies
By completing a booking and accepting the photography agreement, clients acknowledge that they have read and agree to the cancellation, rescheduling, and payment policies of Moments by Desiree.
